travel north america united states colorado vail around

In 1973, we travel along I-70 to Colorado and stopped to see the up-scale ski town of Vail in the Rockies.
I was mainly interested in the architecture, but did get a chance to walk around a bit.

Today, this building, Mountain Haus, looks a bit different than it did in 1973, Vail, Colorado, USA, 1973.
When we saw it, it was apparently apartments for skiers.
The nice wood accents along the top floor have apparently disappeared.
